The play was excellent!!!! Scott's acting was superb. And--are you readyfor this, because I'm not--I got his autograph!!!! I waited around the lobby for about half an hour, then he came  out and greeted several friends. Once it was obvious that he was meeting fans, I kind of joined the group. He was wonderfully gracious and smiled and looked right ( Read more... )

I'm going to be there tomorrow! I'm so very excited!

still nervous about meeting him. I KNOW my friend I'm going with is going to be like "suck it up! he's just like any other guy" but she just doesn't understand.

I saw your tweet that they didn't come out to meet people after the show. :( But wasn't it awesome to even see him in real life? I was just awestruch thinking "I'm breathing the same air!"

And wasn't it a great play, too?

the play was so awesome! I thought I would have a problem keeping Danny and Scott separate, but I didn't. I think it was all the facial hair (and lack of AOL/Steve) lol

there were some lines that sounded suspiciously like they would have been delivered by Danny to Steve and I wonder if when AOL went he noticed the same thing.

I was surprised at how much I liked Lulu and I can't picture Lanie Kazan in the role (she was originally cast as Lulu)

Other than getting there with literally seconds to spare, I was worried my friend who went with me wouldn't like it, but she was laughing right along with me (and the audience) so I count that as a win.

I had the same thought, about Danny/Scott, but the character was different enough and his acting was so wonderful, I had no trouble seeing him as Jake.

I just got home a few hours ago and I'm slowly getting caught up on reading. I'm so tired!

I noticed a few lines that sounded a little familiar, too! "You're an animal" Haha!

Yay! I'm so glad you had a great time and you met Scott! I think he needs to being the play over to England so I can go.

Thank you so much! It would be a smash on the West End, I'm sure! I'm thankful that I live close enough to make a quick weekend trip. It's about a 2 hour plane flight from home for me.

On a side note, I would love to visit England some day. It always looks so lovely in photos. And all of the history would be amazing! The oldest buildings in Colorado are from the 1800s.

Yeah, I think it would do really well over here. Maybe he could bring it over next Summer? That'd be cool.

I like England (and I do get to do some great fan things over here, so I can't complain!) and hope you get the chance to visit some day.

That's great! I can't wait to be there, only 2 weeks to go. :D

Stupid question: does the theatre have a dress code?

Jumping in to say that I have a friend who lives in CA has been to the Falcon and when I asked her the same questions her response was there will be people dressed up, people in jeans or shorts, it's southern CA as long as you're wearing clothes you'll be ok.

Less than two weeks and I'll be in CA and by this time will have seen the play for the first time.

Clothes are a good thing! When my friend said that to me I just started to laugh and responded with I think I can handle that.

Ohhhh, looks like we'll be going on the 30th too so hope to meet you there!

I've heard those bad reports, too, but he was very nice to the people at the play. Maybe he's rude when people are rude to him? Everyone was polite and waited their turn, and he talked to each person.

Love that gif!!

You are going to have a great time!! The theater is quite small, so it feels nice and intimate. And when you're in the front row! There are couple of points in the play where the staging takes him within a few feet of the front row!

Thank you so much for the warning! We'll be in the front row, center, on Friday and Sunday night and we have third row on Saturday night.

Sounds like you had a great time....YEAH!
