“Hello?!” I called, walking out of the bathroom on my day off around four months after we had moved into Castle Bam. I sighed and walked upstairs, seeing a big sign telling me everyone went out for the day taped to the door. I grinned and walked over to the jukebox, turning on one of my favorite songs, dancing around. “GO! WOAH I’M NEVER GIVIN’ IN! WOAH I’LL NEVER GIVE UP! WOAH I’M NEVER GIVIN’ IN! I JUST WANNA BE- WANNA BE LOVED!” I screamed along, dancing around happily.
“Strip for me Lo’.” I heard, making me gasp and stop dancing around.
“Bam! I uh… I thought I was alone…” I said, blushing.
“You were, and then I got home.” He said, dropping onto the couch. “So you gonna strip for me?” He asked, smirking.
I blushed again, “No! You’re not that privileged.” I said, pulling myself up onto the pool table to sit.
“What? Come on, Lo’.” He said, pouting.
“No, Bam!” I said, rolling my eyes and jumping down, going downstairs for a beer.
He followed, “Why not?” He asked childishly.
“Because I’m just not stripping for you.” I told him, fixing a glass of orange juice instead.
“That’s not a good answer.” He told me.
“Well deal with the disappointment.” I told him, laughing and picking up Haggard, scratching him behind the ears.
“I’m Bam Margera. I don’t get disappointed.”
I rolled my eyes and went back upstairs to watch TV, settling on a rerun of the British TV show, Doctor Who.
Bam followed and plopped down on the couch, staring at the TV screen. “How can you watch this shit?”
“It’s a lot better than Viva La Bam.” I said, hiding my smirk behind my glass.
“Hey! If it weren’t for Viva La Bam, I wouldn’t have this house.”
“Point taken, but Doctor Who is still better than it.” I said, setting my glass down on the coffee table and letting Haggard down to play with Trouble and Mischief.
He made a noise of annoyance and grabbed my arms, pulling me into a deep kiss.
I pushed him away, “What was that for?”
“To shut you up and because I wanted to.” He said, pressing his lips against mine again.
I kissed back for a couple minutes before pushing him away again, “We really shouldn’t be doing this. You’re married.”
“Separated.” He corrected, moving towards me again.
I groaned and put my hand over his mouth, “We still shouldn’t. How is it gonna look if your family and our friends come back and see us making out on the couch?”
“They’ll think lucky them.” He said, his words muffled by my hand.
I rolled my eyes, “No they won’t. They’ll think I’m taking advantage of you because you’re all vulnerable and shit.”
He laughed, “The last thing I am is vulnerable, Lotus.” He said shaking his head. “And you didn’t exactly stop me when we were in Fast Eddie’s.”
“Yeah, but that was different.”
“How so?”
“Because… it just was, okay?” I asked, standing and walking out onto the balcony.
He followed, looking at me. “You’re scared.”
It was my turn to laugh, “Of what?”
“Liking me.”
“Let’s sound a bit more like we’re five, okay Bam?”
“No, I’m serious.” He said, walking over to me. “You’re scared because you think you’re just a side fling while me and Missy are separated.”
I turned to him. “And how would you know that?”
He smirked, “I’m all knowing.”
I rolled my eyes again, “Okay, God.” I said, staring up at him. “And if it were true, what’s to say I’m wrong?”
He leaned forward and kissed me again, soft and sweet just like in Fast Eddie’s. “Give me the chance to prove it to you.”
I looked up into his eyes, “Okay, but this doesn’t mean we’re dating.” I stated.
He nodded, “Of course not.”
“Fast Company! Life Partner!” Novak screamed from the doorway.
We walked back in, all our friends filing in after him, carrying bags of groceries. “Want some help?” Bam asked them.
They all stopped to stare, “Okay, who are you and what have you done with Bam?” Ape asked her son.
He rolled his eyes, “Nothin’. I was gonna make Fast Company do it.” He said, nudging me.
I rolled my eyes, “Whatever.” I said, pushing him back and going to help with the bags.
