Summary: Jared’s reached that point in an alpha’s life where he’s starting to question what he really wants. He’s not really coming up with any answers. But a special call back into work one night changes everything for him and gives him a glimpse of the future he never knew he really wanted.
Reccer's notes: Equality in relationships is really important to me, which makes Alpha/Beta/Omega universes sometimes difficult for me. This story has a special place in my heart since it breaks with a lot of A/B/O clichés. Unbreakable bonding for life between two people being one of these, polyamory normaly doesn't fit with A/B/O. Here Jared, Jensen and Misha try to work towards an equal, loving relationship between all three of them. It doesn't come natural, they have to work on it. Alpha!Jared is a caring nurse, Beta!Misha broke up with his former abusive mate and Omega!Jensen falls in love with Beta!Misha even though he knows they can't mate. However: "Normality is overrated. We’re a progressive group. We’re making our own way." That's a text from Jensen at one point in the story. And he's so very right!
