Okay, I know it's no secret that exercise makes you feel better and all of that shit, but I took a good long walk this morning and I feel great today! I feel energized and happy and I even think my skin is glowing or something. Nice

Woah! $9.98! I need to see that one again, and i keep meaning to buy it since PTA is my favorite (well, him and Woody) and i need to own all his films. I was so so on that movie, but want to give it another chance.

I know whatcha mean...after first seeing that movie, I was disappointed, to say the least. I remember thinking to myself, "Is that it?" 'cause I was expecting it to hit me like a ton of bricks in typical PTA fashion. However, the more I've seen it, it grows on me. I just think that the movie is soooo subtle...is that the word? It just makes you feel a little nerve-wracked and uncomfortable. But guess what? No commentary on this one. (Magnolia didn't have commentary either, did it?) I was really hoping to get some feedback from PTA 'cause the movie also has some really heavy symbolism, which definitely went over my head.

Uncomfortable? No kidding. The scene where Barry is running around in that warehouse trying to demonstrate his wares while avoiding Emily Watson (i think thats what he was doing) was so perfect that i *needed* it to end. You're right, "Magnolia" has no commentary, but the Diray thing makes up for it. Over 90 minutes of the making of. And not a "show" about it, just 90 minutes of making of footage that shows meetings, joking with actors, etc. Watching PTA coach actors has been great to watch. My favorite part of the whole thing is the look on his face when the music comes together from the orchestra. It also includes the Frank TJ Mackie seminar and infomercials, which, i gotta say is freaking hilarious... in that "its so wrong"- "Family Guy" sorta way.
