Phew! It's so good to be feeling better again. Good enough to post. You guys know how I was going to SMASH? Well in the end I dropped out - and then, as some kind of karmic payback, immediately got the flu. The Flu flu, not just "I have a really bad cold and will call it the flu", - flu. I DIED HORRIBLY. I am sad to hear your art course was disappointing. :( But you'll still have the materials to experiment with? I've never gotten that much out of any of my art-related classes, myself. Books are good.

WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU
Yup! Arrived last week, actually...so I got all distracted with the anime-watching ^^; I think I liked it! I mean...I'll probably have to dedicate a journal entry to my thoughts, since truth is I'm pretty conflicted. I think what you said about "not quite getting there" is probably true.
Still want all the figures though.

Also thank you for all the other things!I feel kinda bad I didn't put in a note with your stuff at least, but it was a "pack this before I leave the house" last-minute thing *makes excuses* ^^;

I found my brother's old set of watercolours. They're really good, too, so yeah, looks like self-teaching it is!

Yeah, I watched the first episode of T+B (the pilot, I guess) and I was like...this is....amazing?? I looked like it was gonna be all about rival teams and sponsorships and commercialism and FUN TIMES but then the second episode happened and it sort of headed more in the direction of standard anime fare. Not necessarily bad just...not living up to that initial potential, imo. Still some hella sweet character designs though! I have been mighty tempted by some of the action figures on several occasions but fortunately I haven't had that hard a time resisting... My Zoids Revoltechs fill the "sweet robot action figures" criteria for the time being ( ... )

OH man, I'll save all the raving and arm-flailing for later, but the figures? You can actually find them for pretty cheap! I'm going to nab sky high from a Japanese seller for about $45 shipped. That's...really, really good prices, man. Usually any kind of action figure is like, $60 average. Did I mention I like Sky High? I like him. His outfit is nice retro-futuristic and he is a great Big Ham. Awesome. Also if I get "the boys" their bikes are being released for them later in the year....B) I wish you could raise their masks, though ( ... )
