i am not nor did i ever claim to be a pillar of religius nobility. i am stumbling through life as confused and raw as anyone else. all i ever wanted was to make my own way through. and to come out a little better for the wear on the other side.

i have however after seeing a wedding take place between two people that i actially knew have realized the importance of abstinance unitl marrige. i do not condemn the people who have made other choices, but it is my choice to wait.

Romantic relationships aren't supposed to be major sacrifices. Compromise is important in any relationship, but with this, it is best to find someone with whom you can minimize the compromises needed. You shouldn't have to give up you interests, beliefs, family or friends. If the girl tries to make you do this, stop before it goes any further. Relationships like that don't work. People shouldn't change because of another person trying to change them. Even further, the more interests two people have in common the better. If the majority of your activities together are things like cars or dancing, that only one of you likes, then the relationship is probably not going to be as good as with someone you share more interests with ( ... )
