Thank you! I hope I can keep going with it as I'm starting to feel the benefits already. I'm just trying to figure out where I should go today. The sun's made an appearance, so I have no excuse not to do it.
That map brings back fantastic memories of me in Edinburgh. 2005, sleeping in the park down below the castle, taking the wrong train out of town to Glasgow and not getting through the gate. Finding random food in a bag in the train station and eating it. Getting drunk at a party and arguing with my friend which was the right way back to our other friends' gaff (her being right of course). hahaha... the list goes on. But good on ya for your trek! I'd gladly do that route.
Next time you're in Scotland, be sure to consult me before you travel by train. I had the gross misfortune to be a train driver for ten years! (So much for that being my dream job when I was wee. Little did I know!) But I'm fairly familiar with which train goes where.
You're reminding me of the fun and adventures I had when I was younger. Did it just seem that way because everything seemed new and exciting? Or was I more willing to take risks and not worry about the possible consequences? I do think I felt more invincible when I was younger. Now I'm too set in my ways and too unwilling to step outside my comfort zone. Mikey no likey!
