Some TV things...

Garrow's Law started its second series last night, and was very good.

The last episode of Ask Rhod Gilbert is tonight (BBC, please recommission it, it's the funniest panel show around these days!).

On Saturday, I very much enjoyed Merlin. ( Short, spoilerish review )

comedy, dw, merlin, tv, pillars of the earth, garrow's law, sarah jane

That's such a lovely relationship, I want more.
Join the club!

Just one problem - why didn't anyone tell Elyan about Gwen's imprisonment?
He was out of town at a blacksmithing convention... at least, methinks that's the fandom consensus, lol.

That night I also enjoyed the penultimate episode of The Pillars of the Earth.
Drat! I was meaning to watch that when it started airing. I guess that means it's time to go back and start finding episodes! Would you recommend it?

Oh, and on Friday, don't forget to watch Children in Need, because not only is there going to be some fun with the Merlin cast, but we also get a preview of the Christmas special of Dr Who!
Noted. Now I've got a bunch of Internet searching to do...

*lol!* Must be. It's a shame, because I'd like him to get more of a role!

I definitely recommend Pillars of the Earth - for me, I like it because it's historical, it reminds me of Rome (big historical stories but with lots of personal stories too), the acting is mostly pretty good, the sets are lovely, and it's good at maintaining interest even if it isn't exciting all the time. There are your usual historical accuracy and irritating character quibbles, but I'm trying to overlook those. I hear the DVDs are out over here soon :)

Watched the first ep over Thanksgiving Break, going to go back to watching once the Merlin squee dies down a bit. Although, methinks I'll have to rewatch the first ep before going on to the second one since there are *so* many plotlines going on!
