Garrow's Law started its second series last night, and was very good.
The last episode of Ask Rhod Gilbert is tonight (BBC, please recommission it, it's the funniest panel show around these days!).
On Saturday, I very much enjoyed Merlin.
Yay, Arthur and Gwen finally had a proper kiss and everything! That's such a lovely relationship, I want more. Also, Gwen looked stunning in Morgana's dream at the beginning, and Merlin was hilarious when he was haranguing Arthur in disguise as a nasty old sorceror. Just one problem - why didn't anyone tell Elyan about Gwen's imprisonment? I thought he was working the forge and all that now... Admittedly I have a vested interest in seeing more of Elyan, but still.
That night I also enjoyed the penultimate episode of The Pillars of the Earth.
The week before I'd been all shocked by Tom's death, and this week we got more of the rivalry between his real son and Jack... but really that plotline is interesting me less than what's happening with Prior Philip (he got voted out at the end too, nooo!). Anyway, it's fun stuff, and I wish we hadn't got almost to the end already. I wonder what's going to happen with the war... (I mean, I know what actually happened with the war, but I wonder how they're going to portray it, because there doesn't seem to be a terribly strong desire to be historically accurate in some bits...)
Also ending this week is the current series of Sarah Jane, which has been mostly pretty awesome so far. The last one looks exciting.
Oh, and on Friday, don't forget to watch Children in Need, because not only is there going to be some fun with the Merlin cast, but we also get a preview of the Christmas special of Dr Who! And a load of celebrities making fools of themselves, most of which I'd prefer to miss (though the special edition of Mastermind should be fun - that's on BBC2 at 10ish).
In other news, since I watch Solomon Kane on Friday night, I feel like rewatching Rome. Maybe when I've finished rewatching Strikeback.
