What beautiful imagery you use in this tale. You clearly show Steve's passionate adoration, and set the scene so nicely with the description of the jasmine and lavender, curtains and candles.

The last line is absolutely perfect! :)

The beauty of love, as aptly illustrated here, is something that brings tears to even the hardest eyes and thaws even the iciest of hearts. Ah, if only canon would let this pairing exist, or at least find a suitable companion for Diana. Alas, this fic will do quite nicely.
