Well, I should have posted before now, but things have been busy, up until this afternoon dealing with student loan consolidation stuff. But anyway, I should update and talk about the best New Years weekend ever

I am coming out to the West Coast to visit a very good friend of mine in Portland, since I have never seen where he lives.

I also wonder how I was going to corrupt her, but it was all in good fun and I laughed the entire time, so I think that as long as he was happy its all that matters.

Well, maybe he was just worried that any one of the humans on earth might "corrupt" her. I think that all fathers simply want there children to settle down and marry a good person. And until they do, they worry that someone might "corrupt" them. Parents are strange creatures.

Hmmm....I haven't been to Portland in years. Not since I was a kid going to my brother's wedding. And then, we just passed through it. I'll end up there again one of these days. My partner's sister lives in Portland and we are planning on visiting her and the kids one of these days. Probably won't be till I'm done with school and have more time. Our schedule always seems to be on the opposite side of the calendar than her's. We were going to go down there for New Years, but she ended up travelling abroad to spend it with some guy she met online.
