This is a gift commission that nbowa gave me for Christmas/my birthday. Those of you that have played softball with me in Chicago will get the reference. I played pretty seriously back in my early & mid 20s, traveling to tournaments & such. Apparently I still have a pretty "focused" look when I step in the box.

Very open stance at the plate. Not worried he's going to blow one by you?

Also, he should be a bit worried since he's apparently holding a runner at second base judging by his stance.

Well, my actual stance is pretty neutral, but I think it's pretty hard to draw a batting stance and have it look quite right.

I think the open stance makes it look more menacing too. Reminds me of the old Loony Tunes cartoons where the mean looking hitter would come up holding a big tree trunk.

No not at all. Nbowa is never nervous. He is just watching the runner on third base is all.

You are going to bunt and he is at the ready to throw you out at first.
