This is a gift commission that nbowa gave me for Christmas/my birthday. Those of you that have played softball with me in Chicago will get the reference. I played pretty seriously back in my early & mid 20s, traveling to tournaments & such. Apparently I still have a pretty "focused" look when I step in the box.

I had my first workout today since last Wednesday when I hurt my hip a bit. It was good to get back into the flow. I also weighed in this morning and I'm now at 295.4, down from 307 over the first 6 weeks. If I can keep up this pace of about 2 pounds a week, I will hit my goal of 215 by the end of the year. Hopefully I can avoid too many more ( Read more... )
