WIP meme.

Stolen from cincoflex:

Post the first sentence (or three) from every WIP you're currently working on, even if it's very short. Then invite people to ask questions about your WIPs. With any luck, the motivation to take that WIP one step closer to completion will appear as if by magic!

You don't have to ask questions, unless you want to. And I'm not going to ( Read more... )

can i kick it? (yes i can), fandom friends are the best friends, scotch o'clock, conjunction junction, fic, meme, loquacious doesn't begin to describe it, iron man, draft fic, yes i make a lot of lists

Maybe you think it has a terrible title, but I am really looking forward to number four. I love your Pepper so much.

Thanks! I have other Pepper-centric fics I did not post here because they weren't in the top ten.

They all look intriguing, but I'm drawn to #5 because first person POV is hard to do and I love seeing how other people handle the psychology and insights. Please keep going on all of them, they look terrific!

Thanks! I hope to make some progress on a couple of these once the challenge is over.

#5 is really interesting to me because I want to know who is narrating and why things are different now. It definitely captured my interest with just a few sentences. I assume because they are traveling, that the narrator is Happy, and I am dying to know what the change is. Happy/Pepper relationship, perhaps?

I am also still oh so eager for #8. I love love love Tony as a father as a concept, and having him entirely unaware of Jake's existence until the boy was a teen is ripe with dramatic potential, in terms of their relationship, Tony and Pepper's interactions and how much Tony has matured in the passing years.

#5: Yep. You nailed it. I have been working on this story in some shape or form since 2009 and I have no idea if I will ever finish it, sadly.

#8 is coming along slowly, very slowly. I have a few really excellent scenes, and then others that are sort of okay, and a vague idea of how I want to connect them in my head.

Writing! I wish I could do it all the time instead of this business where I have a career and am also slowly metamorphosing into the town drunk.

They all sound intriguing, but if #1 is Peggy/Steve...please tell me it's Peggy/Steve... *puppy eyes*

It is. Don't get too excited though, it's going to be long and it's nowhere near finished.

Okay, so I would happily read *any* of those!

#3 - The way you paint the quite snow scene with thoughts of murder.

#4 - Despite never having attempted the list type fics, I have such a huge fondness for them, can't wait to read more!

#5 - For some odd reason, with the exception IM, I don't really have a fondness for first person, but I can't wait to see who's telling this story and how they see Tony and Pepper's relationship.

#7 - I like the day in the life peaks, the exceptional doing the mundane. Wonder why the week was long, and how Tony is going to interrupt her laundry night.

#10 - I really like the voice and looking back at his childhood.

I should do this challenge, it seems fun. That said, the amount of WIPs I have is kinda depressing.
