I hate traffic -- and love ruins!

Today I got up to drive to Wales. Tintern to be exact. Unfortunately, fate was against me. Its a 2+ hour drive. First I had to take the train to the airport to get my rental car. ... At least as far as traffic goes (altough ruins are brilliant too, just not many interesting ones around here). There were couple of accidents around the Wilson Bridge yesterday so 295 was a parking lot. And for some unknown to me reason 395 (which I thought was going to be a good alternative) was not much better; it was backed up almost all the way through DC. Took me over 1.5 hours to get back from work. :-( One good thing about upstate NY: not much traffic ...

I heard about the accidents on the wilson bridge and laughed. I figured it was better to sit in a line of traffic in the UK then in DC... a change of scenery!
