Man, that sucks. Boys smell funny, anyhow. They're best having rocks thrown at them.

If nothing else, at least you have some inspiration to write some angry chick rock. :)

Feel better. <3

It's probably better feeling angry than feeling depressed. Anger is easier to deal with. :-/ ::major hugs::

I'm sorry you put up with his bullshit for so long. You're too good for that, believe me. ("He didn't want to understand, only tell me why I wasn't worth understanding" = OUCH. No one deserves to hear that.)

Out of fairness, I should mention that he and I had a talk and he wised up a bit. It seemed he also didn't realize he had said so many crappy things but was like "I actually said that?"

The majority of the relationship wasn't bad, and he's not a bad guy. I think he was just clouded by anger and plagued by avoidance issues. It happens to the best of us.

By the way, I feel I have to use this icon one last time and what better place than where I'm vouching for him.

I didn't mean to sound like I was completely bashing him; I'm sorry. I do remember plenty of entries in which you were very happy with him, if I recall correctly, so I'm not nixing those out. Still, though, I have to wonder where his mind was when he said those things to you. The people we love most also have the most power to hurt us because we leave ourselves so open to them, by default--even the subtlest words can cut to the bone. I'm not sure if he realized that; not many people even consider it. I've been guilty of saying some stupid things to people I love without meaning them the way they heard them.

I'm glad you two were able to clear things up a bit, though. Do you think you'll remain friends, at least?

Well said. Yeah, I think we'll stay friends. Might be an awkward friendship for a while, but probably.
