Dad told me that after her surgery, Mom was in Post Op for over an hour. Once they got her into her room, the nurse came with the morphine right away. Maybe they couldn't give her pain meds in post op because it would mess with the anesthesia. Mom is having surgery on her back today to fix some ruptured discs. Hopefully, this will take away the pain she has been having for so long.
