Alexander's best friend lives down the street from us and his name is Henry. I think he is almost six and will be starting Kindergarten this year. He has a sister named Sylvia who is about Amanda's age. Henry's parents, Jessica and Peter, are really nice too. The mischief level goes up a little when Henry and Alex are together, but I guess

They go well in a smoothie with some frozen bananas and vanilla soy milk. Jeez, I sound like some kind of hippie.

blue berries

JAM! Christmas is coming and jam is a great gift--I know --I made it for years!

Also--the berries freeze beautifully and quickly if you just spread them a cookie sheet and freeze them. Dump the batch in a bag and do it again. Takes awhile but hey--fresh blue pancakes in December? Who could resist...

threadhead gave me the same directions on how to freeze them (thanks out to both of you--I didn't know). I now have about 28 cups of frozen blueberries in my freezer.

We all discovered that frozen blueberries are good as is. Alexander says they taste like ice cream...
