The kids and I went up to Tacoma this morning to visit with Mom while Dad went grocery shopping. She is doing well. Corey is doing some kind of volunteer work at a comics convention this weekend. An on-line friend from Wisconsin (Rob) will also be there. Rob found out that he could save about $200 in airfare if he came up on Wednesday instead of Thursday. Soooo--he spent the night on our couch.

Alexander's best friend lives down the street from us and his name is Henry. I think he is almost six and will be starting Kindergarten this year. He has a sister named Sylvia who is about Amanda's age. Henry's parents, Jessica and Peter, are really nice too.
