Robin settled down, pulling his cloak around him. Much watched as he closed his eyes and sighed heavily, a troubled soul.
“Master?”
“Sleep, Much,” Robin whispered, eyes still shut.
After a few moments of attempting this, Much sat up again. “It’s no good, Master. I can’t sleep.”
Robin looked at him then. “Why not?”
“I thought you were dying today. I really thought I might lose you. You know, I couldn’t-“
Robin put out a hand, patted him gently on the arm. “I was just pretending. I’m fine.”
“I know.” Much looked down. “You could have told me before, though.”
