Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #100

Legends of the Dark Knight #100 is one of my favorite single issues ever. It has two stories in it, one about Dick's origin and one about Jason; while I prefer the Dick story (it's the art, I think), I thought it would be nice to show some of my favorite Battish work from the guy who's going to be writing Detective Comics soon - James Robinson. I am *right* there with you. This story is a killer in the best possible way. (Unfortunate choice of words, I know, but I can't think of another way to put it at the moment.)

It's way up on my list, as well, and definitely the only comic that can put me on the edge of tears in less than 10 pages.

You're welcome, of course. :) I'd like to think that the whole comics world is learning to love Jason a little more every day.

This was one of the stories which cemented my massive adoration for Jay. Thanks for giving me an excuse to read it again. :D

Your icon (assuming it's a reference to certain resurrections and if not that's what I'm thinking of) is so, so true.

It might just be because I'm having an emotional day, but your icon almost made me cry.

And you're welcome! When I got this issue, I didn't know much about Jason - but this short definitely made me want to learn more. The love Robinson shows here for Bruce and Jason (and, really, Robins in general) makes me very excited to see what he does come March.
