A Place to Stay

OoC: (( I wanted to join in on the role-playing too, now that I have the time-- and I seem to keep missing the opportunities I've been getting. Ah well. Here it is. ))

It was a regular night in Gotham City; gloomy in it's own way and yet alight with the hustle and bustle within the buildings. And it was raining. Not sprinkling, but raining. There was a nice storm clashing in the skies, and Dick Grayson was getting the worst of it.

His motorcycle broke down right in the middle of Gotham, and he realized there was no chance in hell he was getting back home to his apartment in the 'Haven before the night was over. It was then that he decided it wouldn't hurt to give his second home a visit. However, he didn't have any money to use the pay-phones, the taxi or the bus-- and he didn't have his cell-phone.

So he walked the bike. The whole way.

Not like it was really a big deal for him, considering he'd walked farther. Soon enough, he showed up on the doorstep of the Wayne Manor. If Alfred answered the door, he was prepared for the 'tsk'ing at his sopping wet clothes and the dripping hair that didn't seem to want to stay out of his eyes.
