Please Help! Moving to San Francisco!

I'm moving to San Francisco on August 1st. I'd planned to save up $2,000 for the move but my savings only reached about $500 before I got the news that I'm losing my current housing. I am multiply disabled with skeletal problems, fibromyalgia, asthma, arthritis and scoliosis, living month to month on SSI

I wish I could offer you something more than good wishes, but my car insurance payment is going to eat my next unemployment check whole as soon as it gets here.

I too am on SSI and not sure just when, but will be moving to Canada to be with my husband. I know that it's hard to save money to move when you have so many other needs that include medicine. I can't do much but I did share this on Facebook. Wish I could do more than that and pray, but I know both help, even if only a little.

Wow, thank you! You understand. It's also very hard to save money when you're on SSI at all because of the total cost of living. I think it's an achievement to manage it
