Yah, I know .... Xabi was a monumental mistake and unfortunate ....and I guess in away - karma (if you believe in that sort of thing).....
But, rebuild we must .... I actually was thinking that Luis Aragones would be a great fit - hard hitting, no nonsense , not exactly warm and cuddly but, a good man-manager (so the Spanish team says) and I've never heard of any player saying otherwise ....
Of course the man can 'put his foot in it' without any players help ..... *exhales*
Rebuild ... and onward .... when you walk trhough a storm and all ...
sorry for the late reply, work has been crazy lately (just finished my fourth day 12-16hour each)....dusted the laptop off this morning ......
You're right all along, and I knew it then but, it was hard to see - blind faith and all that.....
Hopefully, things will get better soon....now, I just need the 'transfer window' to swing shut with Stevie, Fernando and Masch still wearing the 'Liverbird' with pride....
As for new managers - I quite fancy Aragones but, I will absolutely go mental if it's Martin O'Neil - ever since the "Barry saga" I can't stand him :(

I don't know. I think it was a bit of a rash movement, sacking benitez. What worries me most is whether players will follow him out. I know Pepe is staying, at least. whihc is a relief.
I guess in terms of whether it was humiliating or not, this whole season has been humiliating, so leaving is probably just the next step in the way things have been going to all the people on hte outside looking in. bleh.
Life kinda sucks right now. But on the up side, we won a few things when Rafa first stepped in, perhaps the next manager will have similar fortunes. =D
World cup - gah! I don't think I ahve time to watch it =( boo But I hope it's good and may the best team win! =D
p.s. Dont even get me started on Cesc. I don't even like Arsenal, but oh god, please let him have more integrity than that! My faith in footballers need revival!
I know ....sorry about you 'not having time for the WC' ...but, a lot of stuff will be online & archived stuff too, cbc.ca (and select SPORT ...duh :) ) will have plenty ....and should work as long as you're not in the US ....but, Canada and the so-called British colonies it should work no probs...
As for LFC, I'm hoping everything turns out ok in the end....
I will freely admit - I'm petrified about this 'transfer window' .... I just want it to end soon ...with Stevie, Fernando, Macsh and Cesc at their respected clubs for another season ....

Now we must all (Rafa included) dust ourselves down and see what, in our case, who will we get and what it'll bring.
Rafa brought us no."Five" back home and I will be grateful for that. :)
Now we should just give each other a huge group hug. We'll get through this, we will.
