Well, it finally happened Rafa Benitez has been sacked at Liverpool FC earlier today.
..... I'm gutted, disappointed, numb, and these words don't even approach how I feel right now ..... I know he's just the manager and things will always get worse before they get better (so my father tells me ) but...... It's like some horrible 'traffic accident' you don't want to watch or listen to but, you can't stop yourself...... I've cried (actual tears) today ..... sigh .....
I liked him and sigh ..... I know some of my f-listers didn't care for the man but, I honestly believe he 'cared' about his job - and to be escorted out so to speak, even with the financial "severance package" it's still got to be both humiliating, painful and hurtful .....
No one deserves that .... I'm been fired in my day - and yeah, some jobs , I was glad to see the back of but, it still doesn't make it hurt anyless.....
The World Cup is 7 days away, and I feel dispondent about football - the beautiful game .....
My better half is still 'fretting about whether Fabregas will leave Arsenal' .... We're a 'right pair' tonight ..... both stewing in our gloom and doom....
