  • H50 - you are on serious fucking notice with me after this week's episode. Any more bullshit and I will be done with you. The only reason you even get another chance was because of Rachel and Sang Min's existences this week, but you are skating on thin ice with everything else. Whatever you're doing to be cool, stop it because you ( Read more... )

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees zomg. That was such an amazing episode. Although the one where Lewis finally finds out who was responsible for his wife's death was also a powerful episode.

As a QI and Jonathan Creek fan, I am also partial to the one with Alan Davies.

I always like Lewis. I haven't seen them all, but I adore Hathaway. (I truly think that when he gets a little older he could totally play Albert Campion.) Have you seen the ep with my favorite silver fox being arty and drunk and living on a canal boat? :D The man is on EVERYTHING.

Oh, Hathaway. It's amazing how much Laurence Fox looks like all the Fox men I used to watch growing up. And ahahaha! I have not yet seen Lestrade on this show, but I cannot wait to now. I enjoy watching his presence on my TV at all times. :D

Yeah, the heel thing bothers me, but what's bothering me most is how they're writing the new Captain. Her characterization seems so inconsistent, and most of the time, she comes across as petty and petulant instead of the tough, professional woman she must be to have become captain in the first place. It's really irritating because this show's always been better at writing women than some other shows, and I know they want to make her a different character from Montgomery, but they can do that without sabotaging her character, you know?

I think that's why I don't like the conspiracy arc. It's coming at the cost of some of the characters as well as the credibility of the show, and it's dimming some of the lustre of the show for me.

Eeeee Jeeves & Wooster is the best!! I haven't watched the series in a few years but it is probably one of my most loved shows ever. I haven't read any Wodehouse since I was maybe 12, but as a kid I thought all his stories were hilarious!

Jeeves & Wooster are fabulous! I never got into the books when I was younger, but I think I'd actually appreciate the language and the humor now, so I got myself an anthology of Wodehouse. I'm looking forward to reading it!
