TV thoughts:

  • H50 - you are on serious fucking notice with me after this week's episode. Any more bullshit and I will be done with you. The only reason you even get another chance was because of Rachel and Sang Min's existences this week, but you are skating on thin ice with everything else. Whatever you're doing to be cool, stop it because you ( Read more... )

Castle is becoming bad, and rapidly. Individual parts of it are nice and that's how I get through an episode but wow, it was so much better in the 1st season or was it the 2nd? Still, Ryan/Esposito the best thing ever on this show.

I'm still enjoying Castle, but I think they've taken the conspiracy thing as far as it can go without totally stretching my disbelief. I still enjoy the relationships, so I'll keep watching it, but I'm hoping they wrap up the mystery of surrounding Joanna Beckett's murder because it's getting boring.

What's going on re: H50? Granted I haven't watched since the middle of last season, but everyone's been talking about how awful it is. I am curious.

It is so awful all over. This week's episode was particularly bad because in the middle of the plot, they actually wrote in a TEN-MINUTE SHILL for Subway. As part of the actual goddamn dialogue. They've always been bad at product placement, but this was just taking it way too far, and I had to cover my eyes and not pay attention because it was just cringingly embarrassing.

On the plus side, JOE FUCKING WHITE IS FINALLY GONE. I was so sick to death of him and his one-note characterization, but apparently, this week was his last episode, so I am rejoicing. Maybe next week's episode won't suck now that he's gone, but I'm not holding onto hope.

I have not yet caught up on Leverage! Right now, I am apparently watching every British show ever made, but Leverage is next on my list. I have heard good things about this season, though, so I can't wait. :D

Feeling good enough to go to work, but I think I might have to cancel out on the movie plans, unfortunately. I don't know if I can make it through the whole day. :\

PLEASE write some Lewis fic! It is a very small fandom.

I am going to try! I'm a little nervous since everyone else is a fantastic writer, but if I get an idea, I'll write it.

    That includes you, Amy!

I tapped out of H50 a while ago, but I TOTALLY SUPPORT J&W. Even the problematic parts where Stephen Fry is improbably sexy, and Hugh Laurie manages to be dim but somehow desirable. Although maybe skip the episodes with the blackface and such. That's too problematic. 0_o

I don't know what this Life Born of Fire thing of which you speak is, but I'm certainly intrigued.

Ugh, yes, I had heard about the blackface. Will definitely be skipping those parts, but overall, I do love the show and want to watch it forever.

Hee! 'Life Born of Fire' is the Lewis episode where Hathaway is tormented by his past, cries, yells at Lewis, and makes out with an incredibly beautiful woman while Lewis worries incessantly about Hathaway, is really hurt when Hathaway doesn't trust him enough to open up to him about facts of the case, and carries Hathaway out of a burning building like the hero he is. It is the most hurt/comfortiest of the episodes and really emphasizes how much these two care about each other.
