Scott is actually the perfect height for me because he's only two and a half inches taller, so like I could reach his mouth without risking neck strain. I HAVE MAYBE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS TOO MUCH.

Well, Waikiki's just one part of Honolulu, I think. Hawaii is a lot more than just that. The other islands are pretty podunk, yet tropical.

Sadly, I have not! I've only watched Scott in the Ocean's movies and Into the Blue; everything else has been off my radar.

My guess? This is Steve on a three-day shore leave in Norfolk, VA, where he's borrowed a pickup from an on-base friend and just DROVE for half a day, enjoying the wind through the open window and trying to get his legs back. Maybe he's trying to shake a pretty tough mission; maybe he's just about to crawl out of his skin from sexual tension. But he'll be headed somewhere specific, some honky-tonk bar full of redneck queers that he found on a roadtrip back in his Annapolis days, and he'll get a cheap room at this motel because it's close enough that he can get blitzed on jack daniel's and still walk back. Hopefully not alone. (Unless he has sex in the bathroom again. That sometimes happens...)
