So I went to the Highland Games in Maxville, ON yesterday. We got lost for an hour on the way in, we stood in the sweltering heat while people made boring speeches, we watched young girls do the Highland fling while a multitude of pipe bands played the bagpipes and drummed and marched in rhythm, we wandered all around the grounds buying things,

I had to count out all the relevant syllables on my fingers to make sure I got them right, which meant that I had to stop typing at work and count them out. I'm sure my co-workers thought I was having a mental breakdown of some sort, but I don't care because I had fun composing these.

And, dude! If I could write any other Simon Pegg movies besides Trek, I would be all over that crossover. Seriously, Scotty and Shaun versus zombies would be the ultimate in movie and genre crossovers. Even Scotty in Sandford would be wonderful.
