I had an interview in Richmond today.  I have a second one on April  3rd.  How exciting.  I'm not working tonight, and it feels rather strange to have all this free time.  I'm not sure how I feel about it.  

I decided to write down all the things I will miss about being an undergrad so I can look back at this and think about how lucky I was to be in a state of pseudo-adulthood and have little to no cares in the world.  I am assuming that my nostalgia will begin in 8-12 months when I'm unemployed and still in the United States ( Read more... )

New life game plan:
-Work
-Get TEFL certified
-Go to Turkey/India/Korea

It occured to me about 25 minutes ago that Turkey was a possibility.  Right now in my life, I'm trying to look for places that I will most likely never end up.  Turkey is conveniently bordered by 8 different countries (and three seas).   Hmmm....

I just made the most bitchin' soysage sandwich.  I used some Gimme Lean imitation sausage, threw that shit on a sprayed skillet, threw in some onions and toasted potato bread with swiss cheese.  It was delicious.  You know I kind of hate running out of food, but it makes my cooking that much more adventurous (and usually yummy ( Read more... )

I think I'm going to throw up.

I am back from the Bahamas.  It was good, the weather was perfect.  I'm pushing for Costa Rica next year.

Hmm....

We have a new president now, and I can't help but worry.  Not because I feel let down by the American public, this was my choice too.  But you can feel change in the air.  I really think that our generation is going to be a turning point for something.

Its the uncertainty that's scary.
