Trends are Universal

I don't care who you are (and I include myself in this), everyone follows one trend or another. Some, like myself, fall into the punk scene; some are metal-heads; some are art-geeks etc. Who we are is the result of one trend or another.

Obligatory response: "I don't follow any trend or cultural grouping."

I will agree with you. It's just once you figure there has never been anything new in our history we recycle (there's another trend that's pointless) ideas, and thoughts twist them and make them our own. Or it evolves until it no longer even connects with the original. Like Punk music from its root to now.
