A tall, colorful, decorated archway welcomes you towards the celebration grounds. You can see large panels on either side of the pillars displaying beautiful illustrations. The panels on the left depict the historical timeline of Unova. If you look closer, you can see that each great event has a description and pictures beginning with its founding, development, innovations and discoveries until today. The panels to the right of the entrance mark each large city with its most distinguishing characteristics, buildings and a photo of the current gym leader. This spot is one of the best places to wait for friends or make new ones. You never know what happens after a cheerful hello.
Right past the entrance is a large stand showing a map of the area. Where will you choose to visit first?
[Red takes a moment to gaze up at the archway. He wasn't particularly interested in reading all the history, but the gym information caught his eye. Pikachu shifts on his shoulder impatiently, especially catching the scent of food, but Red pats his head in assurance.]
[He stands up at the voice. Pikachu chirps hello cheerfully.] Oh... Elesa, hey. [He takes a quick glance back at the panel to make sure.] So your gym's in this city, huh?
A gated pen allows a few people to enter at once to play with some of the regional Pokémon found in Unova. There are various Lillipup, Pidove, Purrloin and Minccino found in the regular pen. A sandbox shows a few Sandile and Dwebble. A pool is filled with Tympole and Ducklett. The larger, less friendly Pokémon are kept in the farther area for viewing only. Several handlers are available to help with the Pokémon if necessary.
Did a Pokémon catch your attention with its soft cry? Would you like to hold it?

[Cilan happens to be in the general vicinity, also holding a Lillipup. He turned towards N and smiled coyly. It's so heartwarming to see someone so close to Pokemon, so maybe he can work up the confidence to strike conversation.]
You know... I remember when my Stoutland was just a Lillipup. Pokemon grow so fast... Kind of like people!

Don't they?
[He reaches over for a little Purrloin and scratches it behind the ear.]
I had a Purrloin at one time, but I released her shortly after. She preferred to be wild. [He dips his head down a little fondly.] I met her again a couple of years later. She's now a happy Liepard with kittens of her own.

A large stage is placed in an open area. Throughout the day, there are multiple performances; every minute, you can see a band play, a theater group act, a few famous movies filmed in Unova, and some of the best Pokémon performances courtesy of the musical hall. Sometimes an important figure would take a few minutes to introduce themselves, deliver a speech, or make announcements.
[Well this was something that felt like home~ The Kimono Girls were always ... somewhat of a bunch of harpies, but their dances were always interesting. It made Morty wonder how something from Unova would differ from their dances. So he stopped at the outdoor stage, still holding onto Falkner's hand. There was already a crowd forming in wait of the next performance.]
[Falkner craned his head to look for a schedule, but before he could find one, the crowd hushes as the speakers begin a soft, classical melody. Falkner's attention returned to the stage as the curtain lifted showing the backs of four Unova-native Pokémon wearing costumes. The music pauses for a moment, then strikes up again with an upbeat melody. The four Pokémon turn around to reveal a Litwick, a Rufflet, a Darumaka and an Audino. They begin to dance and twirl along with the song, spinning or tossing their accessories in turn. Falkner's eyes were drawn to the Rufflet.]
That... that one is the rare Rufflet! I had not expected to see one while I was here, but... What an opportunity! If only I could see it fly as well as dance... [One hand grasped Morty's sleeve in anticipation.]
[Well, he had not expected that at all. It was admittedly very cute. And having Falkner so excited beside him was an extra treat. Morty hummed in thought.]
Perhaps we'll run into a trainer that has one.
[Meanwhile, he hasn't taken his eyes off that Litwick.]
Colorful tents and booths reveal games and prizes! Try your luck at a ring tossing, a shooting gallery and many more! Perhaps you see a prize you want to win for yourself or a friend!
Hungry already? Try all the local delicacies from the many stalls surrounding the food court! Tables and chairs line the center. If it gets too crowded, perhaps ask someone if they don't mind you taking a seat at the same table.
[ There is +1 waiter representing the Striaton Cafe lingering! Want to order something from him? Or perhaps you rather just socialize? This is the place to do so! ]
