A large stage is placed in an open area. Throughout the day, there are multiple performances; every minute, you can see a band play, a theater group act, a few famous movies filmed in Unova, and some of the best Pokémon performances courtesy of the musical hall. Sometimes an important figure would take a few minutes to introduce themselves, deliver a speech, or make announcements.
[Well this was something that felt like home~ The Kimono Girls were always ... somewhat of a bunch of harpies, but their dances were always interesting. It made Morty wonder how something from Unova would differ from their dances. So he stopped at the outdoor stage, still holding onto Falkner's hand. There was already a crowd forming in wait of the next performance.]
[Falkner craned his head to look for a schedule, but before he could find one, the crowd hushes as the speakers begin a soft, classical melody. Falkner's attention returned to the stage as the curtain lifted showing the backs of four Unova-native Pokémon wearing costumes. The music pauses for a moment, then strikes up again with an upbeat melody. The four Pokémon turn around to reveal a Litwick, a Rufflet, a Darumaka and an Audino. They begin to dance and twirl along with the song, spinning or tossing their accessories in turn. Falkner's eyes were drawn to the Rufflet.]
That... that one is the rare Rufflet! I had not expected to see one while I was here, but... What an opportunity! If only I could see it fly as well as dance... [One hand grasped Morty's sleeve in anticipation.]
[Well, he had not expected that at all. It was admittedly very cute. And having Falkner so excited beside him was an extra treat. Morty hummed in thought.]
Perhaps we'll run into a trainer that has one.
[Meanwhile, he hasn't taken his eyes off that Litwick.]
[Before he can stop it, Falkner smiled to himself at the thought. A moment later, he quickly hides it under stern seriousness. He let's go of Morty's sleeve, but leans closer so their arms brush against each other.] Erm, yes, of course. With many trainers here, it's a possibility.
[The show continues with the Pokémon each having a turn in the spotlight for a short solo performance. Falkner tries to give each Pokémon his attention despite how interesting the Rufflet is. Its dancing partner seems like a tiny candle. Falkner has to admit that he is impressed it could keep up very well without 'legs' like the others.] Hmm, Morty, what do you think that Pokémon is with Rufflet?

I hope so. [He'd actually like to see Falkner battle with one.]
Aaa~h, that one. If I'm remembering correctly, it's a Litwick. A Ghost Type. [And it's dancing with Rufflet? How fitting.] I hope we'll run into another one of those, too ...
[Falkner raises an eyebrow strangely at it. Ghosts are such odd beings, but at least this one seems much more pleasant than the two Gengar. He steals a glance at Morty who seems quite taken with it. Aah, it would be nice to see him happy with one. Falkner folds his arms.]
If we have some time to explore the region, perhaps we could find one for you to befriend. I had read earlier that there is a very large airport farther north and nearby is a tower for resting Pokémon. I had been meaning to ask if we could go in that direction...
[Falkner smiles warmly at Morty's response before replacing his face with a professional look.] Of course; we should make the most of our time. I'm sure once we've returned to our duties, the next chance would be far from now...
The musical finishes as the curtains close on the stage. The crowd applauds. Falkner also politely does so though his thoughts remain on what he just said. When he returns to his gym, it would be hard to spend time with Morty like this. Ah they should move on along.]

[He wants one. Even if it is part fire.]
