[Gallade had wandered off, promising to meet May at the Silph building after he was done scoping out the area; he'd wanted to stretch his legs after such a long trip in his Pokéball. So there he'd been, balanced carefully on a spire with a perfect lookout point, until his sensor had begun tingling--there was another of his kind in the vicinity! Curious, Gallade had decided to check it out, and had spotted not just any Gardevoir, but... him. With Wally--who he was happy to see--but...

He leaps down to a lower tree, then to a fencepost, before hesitantly approaching the two.]

[Oh? Gardevoir's own senses had been tingling, but it isn't until Gallade starts to approach them that Gardevoir takes his focus off fixing Wally's tie for a moment to look, which gets Wally's attention.] Hmm? What is it?

[He then spots the Gallade, and with a little bit of psychic prodding from Gardevoir who had immediately recognized it, he recognizes it as May's Gallade, so he smiles and gives a wave, where as Gardevoir at the moment is being really quiet as we watch you approach] Oh, hey there Gallade! It's nice to see you again! Have you and May been doing well?

[verdoyant]

[Gallade stops, closer to Wally than Gardevoir, though his eyes are fixed on Gardevoir of their own accord for a moment--until he forces himself to acknowledge Wally's question with a respectful sweep of his arm and a deep bow.]

Gallade!

[... and then his eyes are back on Gardevoir. He's trying to hold back the thought completely, but his mind seems to be rebelling, and he emits faint hints... of being glad to see him. Really... glad.]

[clearskiesahead]

[Wally nods at that, smiling] Well, that's good to hear.

[Gardevoir meanwhile is kind of quiet for a moment before he nods as well, emitting his own faint emotions-he is happy to hear that you and May have been well. It's been a while since the last time they've seen each other, and even if it feels rather awkward around you at times, it doesn't change the fact that it's still glad to see you again.]

[ By this time, Lucky had finally found her way, met with her producer and was given a strict message not to be late.

But she couldn't resist stopping, not with a Gardevoir standing before her! ]

A gardevoir! Hello!

[ In favour of the Gardevoir, Lucky has yet to spot the Gardevoir's trainer. ]

[Hmm? The Gardevoir turns to see who it is, giving a polite nod of hello even though he doesn't recognize you. Wally on the otherhand looks around from behind Gardevoir, spotting the girl and gives a polite greeting as well.] Ah, hello Miss!

[ If it showed that she hadn't noticed Gardevoir's trainer, Lucky covered it up well as she stood up straight and offered a salute. ]

Ah, hello! You must be gardevoir's trainer!

Yes, that's right. [He doesn't seem to have noticed the fact that you hadn't noticed him at first as he just smiles] I'm Wally. It's nice to meet you, Miss...?

[May and Brendan had finally made it to Saffron City.

Only for May to have realized she'd lost her PokéNav somewhere on the ship. Well, that was totally fine, seeing as it was supposedly going to be replaced with the PNG today, except that it also meant they had no way of contacting Green. So after a fruitless check of some of the stores Green maybe sort of could have been frequenting, and a peek in That One Famous Restaurant that had perhaps simply been ill-timed, they'd given up and decided to just go to Silph Co., as it was about time for the party anyway, and they were also supposed to meet up with Gallade.

So here was May, meandering down the street attached to Brendan's arm as if it was the only thing holding her up (which it probably was), and mumbling dramatically how she really needed food and this city was way bigger than she remembered and also where was Green. But she brightens at the sight of the towering building, disentangling from Brendan and squinting up at it with renewed energy.]Oh, we're here! Do you think they'd

[Brendan's luck had been just as bad as May's--as soon as they'd realized her PokéNav and Green were gone, Brendan had discovered he hadn't charged his own properly the night before, and it died on them before they could even type in Green's number.

And on top of that, May was hungry and feeling particularly whiny. He bore it with minimal complaint, however, and supported most of her weight as they walked through the large city he'd never been in--that was one perk; the sightseeing. But the crowded streets were really more annoyingly full than spectacular...

Suddenly, May lets go at the sight of the Silph Co. building and he quickens his pace a bit to stay beside her.]

It's a big event, I'm sure there's something for you to snack on inside.

[verdoyant]

[She immediately makes a beeline for the front door--but something green and white catches the corner of her eye, and when she halts mid-jog to shield her eyes from the sun and get a proper look, a wide grin takes over most of her face.

We'd like to extend our deepest apologies to Brendan's and Lucky's ears in advance.]

WAAALLYYY!

[SHE'S SHOUTING. SHE'S RUNNING. SHE'S POUNCI--are you ready for this, Wally?]

[Ffff no. At hearing his name being shouted, he turns just in time to see you pounc-oh dear god. Managing to hold ourselves from being completely wiped off our feet here, stumbling back slightly.]

Ah, M-May! I-It's [some slight coughing here for a second; geez May, you practically knocked the wind out of him-before he's fine again.] great to see you again!
