I'm amused.  I'm watching an episode of Conan O'Brien from September, and Greg Kinnear is on, and talking about how he was on the set of a film, and the director was feeling ill, and thought he had food poisoning.  Greg asked him what he had to eat, and the director replied a peanut butter cookie.  Kinnear ruled out food poisoning, saying it was

Nobody thought you could get sick from eating a tomato until recently either. Bad industrial farming practices are everywhere.

My advice - don't eat anything raw unless you can meet the producer.
