Apparently she was rather weak-willed when it came to saying no to people at the dance studio and had spent some of the afternoon helping out at with the beginners' ballet class - that had been her, once upon a time. Three or four years old and thinking that ballet was the best thing ever. Which it had been at that age, ranking up in the lofty heights of amazingness with the colour pink, chocolate and fairies.
She had the horrible feeling that she might get roped into some of the newer dance classes that were being suggested, too, though that was the sort of thing that she might be able to rope a certain Australian boy into doing with her.
After leaving the dance studio, Lavender headed up to Hogsmeade, fiercely hungry after being on the go all day after work and then running around after kids all afternoon. Her food diary was also conspicuously empty when it came to the space for today's lunch entry, so she needed something filling tonight. Chips and chilli sounded just about right.
She couldn't be bothered to take up a table all to herself, so found a spot at the bar before ordering her food and a drink.
