Penny had looked around the shops a little once her interview had finished and so was carrying a couple of bags on her way to meet with Percy. She was on time but - typical Percy - he was already waiting for her.

"Hello, Percy. You got us a great table," Penny smiled, as she sat down.

"How's work been?"

Percy beamed. He thought she'd appreciate the table. He stood up to greet her and helped her find secure places for her bags. "Good afternoon, Penny," he said when they both were seated. "Did some shopping?"

"Work has been good. I juggled around some tasks this morning so we could have a relatively leisurely lunch. I'm more interested in your interview, though. How did it go?" He didn't think she'd mind if he jumped right in, as it seemed to be the most exciting news. Except for the pictures of Gigi burning a hole in his pocket.

Penny took off her coat and sighed. It had been a stressful morning and the shopping had been surprisingly tiring. She was glad to sit down and eat, and she was gasping for a cup of tea.

"Yes, I had a little walk round muggle London. I treated myself to some girly things," she said. She had bought some new underwear, some perfume and some bubble bath. But she thought Percy probably wouldn't be very interested in that.

She was glad Percy didn't have to rush back to work, it was nice to have time to talk.

"I was so nervous! I hope I didn't say anything stupid. I think it went ok, though," Penny said, crossing her fingers.

"That's nice," Percy said, knowing better than to ask what kind of girly things. He would either not care or it would get embarrassing.

"I find you are usually rather articulate. I would try not to worry about that part. Did they at least give you a window of time for when you might be hearing back from them?" he asked.

A server approached them, and Percy asked for some sparkling water, still looking at the menu.
