Percy had come into work about twenty minutes early this morning, wanting to make sure he got his morning work done in time to meet Penny for lunch. He told Mrs. Tonks his plan when he'd brought her some tea, having decided to take a few extra minutes than the normally allotted lunch period so he'd not have to rush.
He was excited about seeing her. She was a kindred spirit, one he hadn't spent nearly enough time with lately, and he wanted to talk to her about her possible job- it would be right after her interview, too, so she'd probably have a lot to tell him. Also, it meant his Wednesday plan was going well. He'd have lunch with her and perhaps even do something else social after work.
So it was with a spring in his step that he bid Mrs. Tonks a nice lunch and made his way to Calliope's Cafe. He arrived a few minutes early, as was his custom, and found them a nice seat by the window- he had to wait a few minutes for it, but it was worth it. He sat and waited for Penny to arrive.
