Tracey sneezed. Twice. Three times. And swore. She gave a sad little sob and blew her nose in a tissue, turning off the faucet and lifting the kettle out of the sink and onto the stove. Tea and honey would make this better. She hoped. The pepper-up sure didn't work all that well. Just made her antsy and unable to get back to sleep.
She poked about in the icebox while the kettle heated up and found some leftovers that made her stomach grumble.
"Kevin," she sniffed, "Is this your chicken and rice in here?"
