Oliver had been pleasantly surprised to be invited over Penny's. They'd always been friendly, thanks mostly to Percy, and he hadn't seen her in ages. Really, he hadn't spoken to Percy in ages aside from the quick hello and how are you. He thought talking to the pair of them about the Quidditch fundraiser might be a good idea, as they were both level headed and practical ( ... )

Percy had been quite pleased indeed to hear from Penny. He'd missed his friend quite a bit- she was more of a kindred spirit than most of his friends and coworkers, and he had missed that sort of relationship in his life. He knew that he could have done better with keeping in touch with her but that was over now, and he would try harder after today.

He bought her some chocolates from the Sweet Shop as a thank you for lunch on the way over and Apparated to her flat, finding Oliver knocking on the door. "Good timing," he said, and then, "Hello, Oliver. Good to see you."

"Hey, Perce. How are ya?" Oliver clapped his friend on the back as they waited for Penny to let them in.

Penny looked up from checking the food when she heard the knock on the door. She closed the oven and took of the oven gloves before going to let them in.

"Oliver! Percy!" She gave them both a quick hug. "It's so good to see you," she said, walking with them into the living room. "Shall I make us a pot of tea? Or would you prefer something else? I have Butterbeer, lemonade, or something stronger?"
