The beef stew looked edible, so that was positive. Pansy knew she only had a handful of days left to work at the Ministry, and figured she might as well spend some time in the canteen before she couldn't anymore. She had some interesting memories from her internship experience; becoming friendly with Hermione, talking with Harry, seeing her parents sentenced, arguing with Draco, and having Neville come to the trial. Overall, this place held a good deal of memories, both good and bad.
Carrying her tray to an empty table, she sat and looked around the busy space. In a few weeks, she'd not be here anymore. Hogwarts was done, but that felt less extreme than this for some reason. This was the place she worked on changing herself. At Hogwarts, she was still Pansy Parkinson, Slytherin bitch. Here, though, she felt she could be different. The Ministry was a chance to prove herself. She just hoped she had.
