RP: Next Time Stay Dry

Summary: Minerva sends a student to the hospital wing... for the second time tonight.

"Hardly surprising considering it was snowing, Miss Edgewater," Minerva told the girl as she felt her forehead. "Perhaps next time you might consider casting a spell to keep out the damp? You are a competent witch. There is no reason to allow yourself to become soaked to the bone." She turned to the Prefect who had had her fetched and asked her to escort the fourth year to Madam Pomfrey and return promptly.
After a long Quidditch match in the snow, there would be any number of students who hadn't taken the proper precautions for being outside for hours. Few students had left once play began, as the Snitch had been very lively. The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Seekers had several mad dashes during the five hour game before the Snitch had finally been caught by Hufflepuff, although it was inadequate to give them the win. The 150 points for the Snitch only brought Hufflepuff's score to 370 to Ravenclaw's 420. It had definitely been the Ravenclaw Chasers' game. Minerva sent the other Gryffindor Prefects to check the dorms for ill students. Three other students were discovered with fevers and they were also packed off to the infirmary before the Prefects were sent back to their beds.
Tomorrow, she'd mention to Filius the need to review Impervious and Warming Charms with the students. Right now, she needed to go see Poppy and make sure the school's supply of Pepper Up was adequate for their needs. Minerva suspected they would need quite a bit during the next few days.
