Percy stepped out of the public Floo in Diagon Alley. It was high time he admitted that he was living at the Burrow for the foreseeable future, and that meant he needed to fetch his essential belongings.
Also he was a little worried that Hermes would have destroyed the place by now. He felt guilty for neglecting his owl for so long - there was a flap so he could go out and hunt, but still. He was Percy's responsibility.
For the last two years it had been second nature to avoid the part of Diagon that held the garish Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes shop, and Percy had no intention of changing that today. After his appalling attempts to comfort Ginny, he had no wish to inflict himself on the rest of his siblings.
But then there was the flyer. Or rather, flyers. They were everywhere - bright orange pieces of parchment stuck all over the shops, walls, and other surfaces.
Percy grabbed one from a nearby lamp post. He felt a surge of panic wash over him as he read it. A celebration of Fred Weasley's Last Laugh.
Oh, fuck. George had gone insane.
Percy whirled around and strode in the direction of his brother's shop.
