Katie had to get out of the flat. She loved her friends, but sometimes she felt like she was suffocating, being constantly around them. She decided that a nice trip to Muggle London would do the trick.
Katie exited the Leaky Cauldron and headed down the street, glancing in shop windows. She cursed herself under her breath; everything was closed. Scowling, she stood on the sidewalk, pondering her options. It'd been a while since she'd gone out dancing. She looked down at her t-shirt and jeans critically; she wasn't dressed up, but she could get into a casual club maybe. And it would be fun to just dance and forget everything else.
Feeling considerably brighter, she continued walking until she heard pounding music. She followed it to a doorway that was emblazoned with the words VELVET ROPE. A surly bouncer relieved her of some Muggle money and she stepped into the club, feeling the music pulse in her bones.
