Molly sat in the living room, humming along to the WWN. She was knitting a large quilt for Hargid as his was lost in the fire. It felt good to do something productive other than her usual cooking and knitting for her family. She was beginning to come to terms with the fact her children were all grown now and maybe she needed to do something else with her life - something beyond the walls of the Burrow. It was a scary thought, and she tried not to think about it too much. But maybe there was something she could do like this - making things for people who needed them.
She glanced up as she heard the familiar crack of apparition. Percy must be home, she thought, and she quickly set down her knitting and headed into the kitchen. She checked that her warming charms had held on the large bowl of chicken soup that she'd laid out for her son and summoned some bread and butter with her wand. She looked up at the clock that rested on the kitchen window ledge. She hoped Percy wouldn't be this late every night.
