Neville Longbottom would surely be less of a challenge to speak to than Draco Malfoy had been. He didn't have anything over her, for one; he wasn't Slytherin, for another. Draco had been pleasantly direct, but only because he wanted something out of their interaction, and perhaps because he was still rattled from the year's experiences. Not that Rita wasn't, of course, but she had been pretending for far more years than Malfoy had.
She hoped Longbottom would prove amenable, though Gryffindors were prone to fits of extreme righteousness. She'd have to tread carefully.
At the appointed time she was waiting at the Three Broomsticks. She'd chosen the same table she'd sat at when here with Aurora - it was quiet and discreet enough at the back for her needs, but she was also easily visible from just inside the door.
Sipping her firewhiskey - Martinis were, she thought, slightly too 'business cliche' for her meeting her with Longbottom and she didn't want to unnerve him any more than she would inevitably - Rita waited.
