Sibyll had finished marking a scroll on the varying ways of crystal gazing and the accuracy of the gaze. Most of the students seemed to be paying attention, but then again she had been caught up a bit in the hectic rush of everyday teaching before the Winter Holiday's.

It was simply time to get out of Hogwarts, get some fresh air, and maybe even poke around Honeydukes or another of the shops in Hogsmeade. The first two were well marked off the mental listand then third, in progress. The shop smelled wonderful when the door opened briefly.

Sibyll looked around before deciding on what treats to get for herself. Caramel and Toffee were always lovely, but nothing was quite like the flavor of chocolate. Perhaps an assortment, but what sort of assortment. Decisions, decisions.

Lavender looked over the selection of special offers that Honeydukes currently had. Ooh, buy-one-get-one-free on selected bars. Nice. She picked up a couple of dark chocolate and started to make a slow circuit of the shop.

The residual scent of incense caught her attention before she saw the source, smiling when she saw her old teacher. "Hello, Professor."

Sibyll smiled over her shoulder at the friendly voice, "Hello Miss Brown." It looked like she certainly wasn't the only one enticed by candied treats.

"Looking forward to the holiday's?" A nice simple topic, very safe. And perfectly appropriate for a non-school or classroom setting. Sibyll would have patted herself on the shoulder except for the fact it would be odd in a public setting. Perhaps a trip abroad was in order, get plenty of fresh air and so on.

"Um, yes." Lavender nodded. There was something a little bittersweet about the upcoming festive season, knowing that she'd be leaving home so soon after. "It'll be nice to spent some time with family and stuff." When she'd chosen to keep her distance from her parents last year, Christmas had been a little more lonely.

"How about you?"
