RP: Of Trees and Chocolate Plots

Summary: Lavender and her camera; making a few memories.

She was getting far too soppy and sentimental. Even for her. She could be emotional at the best of times but, realising that she had just taken a picture of a tree to add to her photo album she was compiling to take with her when she left, she sighed and replaced the cap on her camera lens.
Pictures of friends and favourite places to remind her of home were one thing, but a tree that she had absolutely no emotional connection to was just ridiculous. At least she hadn't started to cry over things she was going to miss, but perhaps it was only a matter of time.
Lavender glanced skyward. It felt like the day was already starting to close in. When she moved, she realised, it was going to be summer, not winter. Heat and sunshine in January was just wrong, but she was rather looking forward to it. At the moment, January still seemed a very long way away, even though it was drawing nearer and nearer.
Turning around, she started back towards the high street, contemplating the feasibility of transporting her body weight in Honeydukes' best dark chocolate to Australia. She needed to have her priorities in order, after all.
