It was funny how a month or so ago Lavender had been promising Parvati that she would be hammering down her door if she were even thinking of leaving the country. Except now she was thinking of emigrating. A lot. To the point that it was one of the only things she could think of.
And, no matter how much she thought about it, Lavender still didn't have a clue how to talk to Parvati about it.
It was a huge decision to make. Quite literally life changing. If she accepted the offer, there was a chance that it could all go terribly, terribly wrong and leave her a wreck. Or it could be an incredible opportunity and the best thing that had happened to her in a long time.
Lavender hated it when she thought too much. It made her restless and stopped her sleeping so well. So right now she was taking a run through Phoenix Park after work. She hadn't been running an awful lot lately, usually too tired from work or preferring to go to the dance studio instead.
There was just something, though, she thought as she paused to tighten her ponytail, about having the wind in your face that dancing couldn't quite match.
