Minerva came up the stairs from the dungeon. A pair of her more creative seventh years had somehow found the password for the Dueling Chamber where the Dueling Clubs met. She changed the password and had a chat with The Baron about giving anyone found down that way again a fright. Minerva decided it wouldn't hurt to have one of the more trustworthy portraits moved down that way as well. There were several Minerva thought might like the chance to hang in a quieter location.
Instead of continuing up to her office, Minerva decided to stop off in the staffroom for a cup of tea. Now that she was no longer teaching, there was more time for breaks during her day and Poppy continued to urge her to take advantage of them. She took a seat and called Crisp, who must have anticipated her because her elf brought a tray bearing a fresh pot of tea and a few treats with her.
Settling in with a nice cuppa and a cranberry scone, Minerva picked up a discarded Daily Prophet to read the articles she'd skipped over breakfast.
